This post has been made due to the increasing amount of cyberbullying in the class.
First off, I have to say that this class is different. We’re a pretty organized and ‘civilized’ bunch. After all, we have official class Facebook groups, a class blog, a class Skype chat, and so on. However, due to the high level of organization and interaction between people via the internet in this class, responsibilities are also higher.
People who have been here since G6 would know that there used to be strict rules regarding swearing and cyberbullying. Of course, the rule on swearing has been taken out some time ago, and the rules that try to lessen the amount of cyberbullying has been pretty much ignored.
Of course, light teasing and joking around is OK. No one really cares, actually, and if someone does care, you apologize. However, recently, there’s been a lot of cyberbullying going on. This means that the teasing and joking has been done to a much larger scale.
This may bring your minds to think about some specific cases, but I won’t name any. The only thing that I’m going to ask for in this post is lessen the amount of cyberbullying. Now, some of you will be like “OMG U R TRING TO B A DICTATOR AGAIN”, and 1) I’m not exactly a dictator and 2) this is for the good of the class.
To help with this, I’m going to be a tiny bit stricter on cyberbullying in the Skype Chat and on Facebook. I won’t exactly launch a “zero tolerance” campaign, as everyone knows a bit of light teasing can be fun sometimes for both sides, but tolerance for extreme insulting will lessen.
Also, I want to say that KIS2017 rocks. All hail the KIS2017 Empire!
